Homework Expert | Ann Dolin, M.Ed

As a former special and general education teacher for Fairfax County, I have had the privilege to work with so many amazing and talented young people. I’ve seen great success in the classroom, but also know that many students struggle to meet their academic goals. I feel strongly that more frequent, individualized instruction can and does positively impact educational performance and confidence. It was in this manner especially, working one-on-one with students and their families, that I found my greatest joys. While the decision was not easy to make, I left the classroom in 1998 and founded Educational Connections Inc. to provide quality tutorial support to students in the D.C. Metro area on a much larger and comprehensive scale.

During the last ten years of running my own DC area tutoring company and currently employing over 100 instructors, I’ve been able to develop and share my passion for education. On a daily basis I consult with parents, teachers, and professionals on how to motivate students and modify instruction so that they can achieve learning goals. I believe that every child can learn and am so pleased to make those beliefs a reality for children of all ages.

Warm regards, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
